Vertical Systems Group announces 2010 US Business Ethernet Leaderboard

This past week, Vertical Systems Group announced the results of its bi-annual share analysis of the 2010 US Business Ethernet Service enterprise network market. The top providers were AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner Telecom, Cox, XO, Qwest, TW Cable and Level 3 (in that order). AT&T, Verizon and TWT provide half of the U.S. retail Ethernet port base. The other half of the US Ethernet market is served by over 60 additional companies including AboveNet, AireSpring, Broadview Networks, Cavalier, Covad, Global Crossing, MegaPath, Nitel, One Communications, Paetec, PowerNet Global, TelePacific, Telnes, and Windstream, all of which are represented by Persimmon Telecommunications.
