CenturyLink formally announced yesterday its plans to acquire Level 3 Communications. The new CenturyLink will be the #3 company in wireline revenue after AT&T and Verizon and ahead of Windstream which will then be #4. (source: Telarus linkedIn post). CenturyLink shows that the new CenturyLink will be #2 in Enterprise / SME / Wholesale Revenue after AT&T with Charter following as #3.
