Persimmon Telecommunications, as a proud member of the Telarus group, is pleased to announce that 2008 was an outstanding year for both. Telarus reached new heights as discussed in previous postings. It made the front cover of US Business Review, was named "Top Agent" by a number of our carriers (see previous postings), and was written up in PHONE+, VARBusiness, and CRN magazines. $3 Million in Monthly Billed Telecommunications Revenue reached in October

Another milestone has been reached - this month the total monthly revenue of our commercial customers has surpassed the $3 Million mark. As a proud member of the Telarus group of consultant agents, Persimmon Telecommunications is proud to be a part of this growing venture. The cover story on the current issue of US Business Review describes the success of the Persimmon Telecommunications business model. As a proud member of the Telarus group of consultant agents, we are able to provide organizations with very quick (often real-time) Telecommunications quotes and plan descriptions from over 20 carriers. This includes data and voice quotes on T1, DS3, OC3, Fast Ethernet, OCx, GigE, PRI, SIP, PtP (Point to Point), and MPLS services. The article details how, at the beginning of this decade, this concept that many in the industry thought to be impossible, was developed by the two founders of Telarus into a working business model that is well on its way to generating more than $50 million of projected contract sales for 2008.

Persimmon Telecommunications, as a proud member of the Telarus group, is thrilled that we are now marketing commercial fiber optic network services in Provo, UT for Broadweave Networks. The services offered include 1 Mbps to 10 Gbps high-speed Ethernet internet access, full-featured phone services via hosted VoIP service, SIP trunking, PRI service, and call-center telephony services.

VAR Partner Program Success

Our VAR Partner program continued its success in April by distributing over 644 qualified and verified VAR leads. In April, our VAR Network partners reported closing over 150 VAR opportunities. The largest VAR Network job quoted (not awarded) in April was $750,000.

Numerous Awards for Excellence in Telecommunications Services

Persimmon Telecommunications, as proud member of the Telarus group, is thrilled to announce that we have been honored by quite a few Telecom organizations. Although our main business is consulting on and selling Telecommunications Carrier Services, we received a Gold 5-star Honor from VAR Business magazine for our Partner program. This puts us in the same award category as 3COM, Oracle and RIMM. In our VAR Partner program, we partner with suppliers of Telecom equipment (phone systems, PBXs, Key Systems, routers, etc) and organizations that provide Telecom services.

For our main business, consulting on and selling bandwidth and phone services (such as MPLS, Ethernet, PRI, SIP, T1, and DS3 services), we were honored by ACC Business, AireSpring, AT&T, COVAD, MegaPath, NUVOX, Telnes and XO.

We Won The ACC Business Platinum Cup Again for 2007

For the Fourth Consecutive Year, ACC Business announced that the Telarus Group, of which Persimmon Telecommunications is a proud member, won the ACC Business Platinum Cup. The 2007 Platinum Cup Award "demonstrates that Telarus is consistently a top performer for ACC Business" commented Sandy Butler Buchanon, National Sales Director for ACC Business. It includes the top 1% of all sales agents in the ACC Business program.
